How We Teach

Our Early Learners curriculum is designed to introduce young children to Mandarin in a fun, natural, and age-appropriate way.
We focus on building listening, speaking, and basic language awareness through:
• Songs and rhymes
• Storytelling and picture books
• Movement activities (TPR – Total Physical Response)
• Simple vocabulary themes such as colors, animals, family, numbers
• Interactive games and crafts
• Basic tones and pronunciation practice through playful repetition

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this level, students will be able to:
• Recognize and say everyday words
• Understand simple teacher instructions
• Introduce themselves and answer basic questions
• Build confidence and interest in learning Mandarin

This stage focuses on exposure and confidence, not formal literacy—perfect for young beginners.

Primary Learners(6-12years old)

Curriculum & Materials

For Primary Learners, we use a structured curriculum supported by well-known textbooks:
• Easy Steps to Chinese · Kids
• YCT (Youth Chinese Test) preparation materials

Lessons include:
• Everyday vocabulary & useful sentence patterns
• Basic grammar and sentence structure
• Character recognition and stroke order
• Reading simple texts
• Speaking and listening practice in real-life scenarios
• Fun activities, group tasks, and cultural projects

Progress & Certification

​

Students at this level will gradually build the skills needed to pass YCT Levels 1–4, depending on age and learning pace.
We offer regular practice tests to help students prepare confidently.

• Communicate in daily situations
• Read and write basic Chinese characters
• Understand short stories and dialogues
• Build a strong foundation for HSK in the future
• Successfully attempt YCT exams

Teen Learners(13years old and above)

How We Teach

Our Teens Program combines practical communication, structured grammar, exam readiness, and cultural understanding. Lessons are interactive, goal-oriented, and designed to support school performance.
